Privacy policy

Get That Best is published by Best Marketing Agency Pte. Ltd. (formerly Best SEO Marketing Pte. Ltd.), Singapore ("we"). This policy explains what we collect when you use this site and what we do with it, in line with Singapore's Personal Data Protection Act 2012.

What we collect

Visit statistics. We use Google Analytics, loaded through Google Tag Manager, to count visits and see which guides people find useful. It sets cookies on your device (such as _ga) and records details like the pages you view, the site that referred you, your device, browser and approximate location. We use these figures in aggregate and do not use them to identify you.

Messages you send us. If you email us or use the form on our contact page, we keep what you send: your name, the business name, your email address, your WhatsApp number if you give one, your message and the guide it is about. We use these details to reply to you and to act on what you tell us, such as correcting a listing. If you write about a business you run, we may also reply with information about sponsored places. Messages sent with the form are delivered by email to our publisher's team through an email delivery service, shared in the team's internal messaging group, and may be logged in the system the team uses to keep track of enquiries.

Spam protection. The form checks that a person, not a script, is filling it in. Where we use Cloudflare Turnstile for this, Cloudflare reads your IP address and details of your browser to make that check.

This site has no sign-up, and we do not sell personal data.

Links to businesses

Our guides link to the businesses they compare. Links to sponsored businesses carry a campaign tag (utm) so the business can see a visit came from us; the tag contains no personal data. Once you leave this site, the other site's own privacy policy applies.

Your choices

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and opt out of Google Analytics with Google's opt-out add-on. The guides work without cookies.

Contact and your rights

To ask what personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected, or to withdraw your consent, email hello@getthatbest.com. We respond within 30 days.

Changes

We update this policy when what we collect changes. The date at the top of this page shows the current version.
